Singapore Last Fishing Village (实里达渔村)
Seletar Fishing Village is located in the mangrove area between Yishun Avenue 1 (commonly known as Yishun Dam) and Punggol West Island. It may be one of the last places in Singapore where local fishermen can make a living by the sea.
实里达渔村位于义顺大道 1 号（俗称义顺大坝）和榜鹅西岛之间的红树林区，可能是新加坡最后一个可以找到当地渔民在海边谋生的地方之一。

Jane Buyers Tombstone (Jane Buyers墓碑)
There is a small tombstone on the corner of Seletar Club Road, and you can still read the text: “Sacred to the memory of Jane, the beloved wife of JC Buyers, shipbuilder, who died on the 14th June 1867, aged 42. Also their sons John James who died in infancy.“
From the inscription, Jane Buyers is the wife of John Craig (JC) Buyers. According to records, Jane Buyers worked in the shipbuilding industry in Singapore from 1863 to 1885. Jane Buyers was probably born in 1826. He followed her husband to Singapore in 1863, but unfortunately died four years later.
在实里达俱乐部路的拐角处有一个小墓碑，仍然可以读到这样的文字：“为了纪念珍妮，JC 买家，造船厂的心爱妻子，于 6 月 14 日去世 1867 年，42 岁。还有他们的儿子约翰和詹姆斯，他们在婴儿时期就去世了。”
从铭文来看，Jane Buyers 是 John Craig (JC) Buyers 的妻子，据记载，Jane Buyers 于 1863 年至 1885 年间在新加坡从事造船业。 Jane Buyers 可能出生于 1826 年，1863 年跟随丈夫来到新加坡，但 不幸的是四年后去世了。
